CABLE CONCRETE
International Erosion Control System’s product CABLE CONCRETE®, is one of the most advanced engineering technologies available for soil erosion control today.
CABLE CONCRETE® is an interconnected block system (ACB) that is connected by cables allowing each individual block to be flexible and form to the terrain of the ground. The system is available in four thicknesses to provide the required stability of the system economically.
CABLE CONCRETE® has engineering testing and data from three university institutions; one located in Canada, the other two in the United States. This data aids in the designing of projects.
PRECAST HEADWALLS
Headwalls are described as a retaining wall at the inlet or outlet of a drain or culvert. International Erosion Control Systems offers a broad spectrum of standard and custom headwalls fabricated with the highest quality concrete. All products conform to local standards and requirements. IECS headwalls can be customized to allow for multiple pipe, box culvert or elliptical applications.
CONCRETE GABIONS
Concrete Gabions are a retaining wall system made of interengageable stackable blocks of high quality concrete with transverse ducts. International Erosion Control Systems manufactures Concrete Gabions in many different sizes allowing the most effective and economical means of meeting the requirements of each application. Gabions are available with Ashler Slate embossed design creating a visually appealing natural stone style.
HYDROMULCH
Easy Grow 1000 Hydromulch is a protective layer of 100% recycled cellulose fibre. Hydromulch is the fastest, most cost effective and high quality method of seeding vegetation, land rehabilitation and erosion control practices.
The process involves mixing East Grow 1000 Hydromulch, seed, in some cases tackifiers, fertilizer and water in the tank of a hydro-mulching machine. Once mixed, the material is then pumped from the tank and sprayed onto the ground. The mix is referred to as slurry. Once it is applied to the soil, it enhances growth by providing an ideal environment for seed germination and turf development. Vegetation establishes quickly providing a uniform cover for erosion control.
CELLULOSE INSULATION
IECS Cellulose Products Division manufactures quality loose fill type 1 cellulose fibre insulation at their modern, computerized, state of the art facility in Rodney, Ontario Canada. This insulation is produced on site using 100% recycled paper fibre products. Thermal Green Ultra Cellulose Fibre Insulation is manufactured under a Quality Management System that is compliant to ISO 9001.
